Carbon-neutral t-shirts to tackle hunger.

Mar 28 2017

Sarnie supremo Sonic Sandwich have launched a limited edition clothing range to raise funds for Action Against Hunger's lifestaving work. Teaming up with climate-neutral manufacturers Continental Clothing Co. they've created environmentally friendly t-shirts and sweatshirts with 100% profits going to Action Against Hunger's work.

"I’ve wanted to find a way to support Action Against Hunger in some way but didn’t really know how." Explained Gavin Lucas, Sonic Sandwich co-founder, "The idea behind it is really simple - we have a bunch of jolly illustrated food characters drawn for us by illustrator Rob Flowers and while they do a nice job of making our menu and website look good - we wondered if they could perform a secondary role of serving as an eye-catching way to raise a few quid for a brilliant charity."

The team at Sonic Sandwich are aiming to raise an ambitious £3,000 from the initiative, but hope it will have an even bigger impact than that "even if we sell just 10 t-shirts, I hope that the campaign will have been seen by thousands of people and introduced some fresh eyeballs to the work of Action Against Hunger."

The campaign will be running here for a limited time only until Friday14th April. Items start from just £25 so don't delay and check them out today!
