How does it work?
When you set up a regular donation through your payroll, your donation is taken from your salary before tax, so it will cost you less. For example, if you want to set up a regular gift of £10, £8 will be deducted from your salary each month and the remaining £2 will come from the Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.
Simply fill in an online form and our payroll giving agency will take care of the rest. Once it’s processed, your employer will be told and your donation will come out of your salary each payday.
Set up online now
If you’re an employer, you can contact a payroll giving agency to set up a scheme. You can request a list of approved payroll giving agencies by email.
Why not ask your employees if they’d be interested in taking part in payroll giving? We’d be happy to help you set it up.
What is the cost of running a payroll giving scheme?
Agencies may charge an admin fee. They usually deduct this from employees’ donations before they pass on gifts to the charity. Employers can choose to pay the fee, meaning charities will get more money, and you can deduct any costs of running the scheme from your business profits before tax.
