Together for Ramadan FAQs
What is Together For Ramadan?
An inclusive workplace campaign inviting everyone to come together during Ramadan to reflect, learn, and take action to end hunger. Activities include a shared fast, Iftar, and fundraising to support Action Against Hunger’s life-saving work.
Who can take part?
Everyone is welcome. You don’t need to be Muslim to join – it’s about solidarity, community, and collective generosity.
Can I give Zakat?
Yes. Action Against Hunger accepts Zakat in line with Islamic charitable principles. All donations – Zakat or in solidarity – contribute to ending hunger.
What if I can’t fast for health or personal reasons?
That’s absolutely fine. Together for Ramadan is about inclusion, not obligation. You can still join the Iftar, attend learning sessions, and show solidarity in other ways like a donation.
How do donations help?
Funds raised support Action Against Hunger’s life-saving work in Muslim-majority countries, providing food, clean water, and healthcare to families facing hunger.
