We have a high profile within the UK’s food and restaurant sector and is supported by a large number of well-known chefs, restaurants and companies. Our annual Love Food Give Food campaign reaches millions of consumers and thousands of companies each year and our special events are supported by a veritable “who’s who” of the UK’s food and restaurant industry.
We are always happy to talk to ethical companies about developing commercial partnerships that offer the opportunity to leverage our cause to help you enhance and differentiate your products or services and bring your company values to life.
On-pack promotions and cause-related marketing
Our most common cause related marketing partnerships take the form of on pack and menu promotions that generate a small donation to our life saving work from each sale. However, there are a number of ways that this mechanism can be introduced, such as with surveys or to encourage invoice payment.
We also organise a number of high profile fundraising initiatives and events that provide exciting sponsorship benefits to corporate partners. We can work with you to identify and build a bespoke package that meets your brand’s needs.
Case study: unearthed®
unearthed®, the food supplier that brings together the very best regionally produced foods from around the world, has been supporting Action Against Hunger since June 2010.
They donate 1p from the sale of every item across its product range and has to date donated over £300,000. These funds are being used to support our programmes in Mali. In addition, unearthed® have added Action Against Hunger's logo onto their packaging, raising awareness of the charity and driving sales amongst their customers at Waitrose, Abel & Cole and Ocado.
“Sales mean even more when we know each and every pack is an extra contribution. Our customers often tell us that they value the partnership and it does deepen our engagement with customers as a result. PR opportunities, networking events and other projects have all been to mutual benefit which is what a partnership is all about. We continue to work with other brands and organisations that we have met through Action Against Hunger in various capacities.”
