The Great British Shake Shack sale is back!
For the entire month of May Shake Shack UK is hosting the 2nd annual Great British Shake Sale, to raise funds and awareness for our life-saving programmes.

Whilst restaurants around the UK are uniting to fundraise for our Nepal earthquake appeal, Shake Shack UK is also joining the movement in the restaurant industry to fundraise for Action Against Hunger.
Last year for the inaugural Shake Sale, Shake Shack raised an impressive £4,584 in just one month. “Last year we launched the Great British Shake Sale to support an organisation and cause we’re very passionate about”, says Michael Kark, Vice President of Shake Shack Licensed Business. “This initiative allows us to connect with the community in a positive way about the serious issue of childhood hunger. This year, we hope to exceed our goal of £5,000 as we take another step toward a nation where no child is hungry."
It’s really easy to take part; simply go to Shake Shack Covent Garden in May and donate £2.00 or more to Action Against Hunger and you will receive a voucher for a complimentary hand-spun shake, redeemable on your next visit. Shake Shack is aiming to raise over £5,000 by the end of May. Shake Shack is serving up four custard flavours: Red Velvet, Cookies N’ Chocolaty Cream, Candied Apple and Strawberry Cheesecake, one for each week of May’s ‘Custard calendar’.
Action Against Hunger has been working with the food and drinks industry for 17 years. Our ‘Love Food Give Food’ campaign unites food lovers across the UK to take action against hunger. Everyone, from well-known chef ambassadors and restaurants to food producers and bloggers, as well as those who simply love to cook, can take a small action to make a big difference. This partnership with Shake Shack strengthens those ties and demonstrates the commitment of chefs and restaurateurs to support Action Against Hunger’s life-saving work around the world.
“We are absolutely delighted to be a part of the Great British Shake Sale again this year. It’s amazing to have this support from Shake Shack who believe in Action Against Hunger’s lifesaving work. We’re incredibly grateful for the amount raised in 2014 and we’re excited to see what this year brings to help the lives of malnourished children around the world.” said Emma Cullingford, Head of Food related fundraising at Action Against Hunger.
Thank you to Shake Shack and everyone who donates via the Shake Sale in May!
