Against Hunger is offering a grant to multimedia professionals interested in creative and ethical representations of people affected by humanitarian issues

Action Against Hunger UK, along with ten other humanitarian charities, have called on the UK government to close the $5 billion funding gap and tackle the hunger crisis facing 28 million people in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia and South Sudan.

Significant damage has been caused by Cyclone Mocha, which struck the coastlines of Bangladesh and Myanmar on Sunday 14 May. The situation in Myanmar's Rakhine State seems particularly worrying. Action Against Hunger teams are assessing the humanitarian needs of those affected and are preparing to launch an emergency response in the coming days.
