About us

We save the lives of malnourished children and support their families to beat hunger.
This September and October, the food and hospitality industry is coming together to make a powerful impact in the fight against hunger.
Right now, there are 673 million people going to bed hungry every night – that’s 8% of the global population.
Restaurants Against Hunger brings together the food and hospitality industry and their customers to take action against hunger. Through our shared love of food, we can fight the hunger crisis and empower communities to build themselves a better future.
Our partner restaurants raise funds for our vital work by adding a £1 donation to their customers’ bills throughout September and October.
Hundreds of different hospitality venues take part in Restaurants Against Hunger. Over the past few years we’ve had support from Michelin star, large restaurant groups to independent restaurants.

“Restaurants Against Hunger is one of the high points of the year. Part of the reasons we’re in business is to make a difference in ways like this. I hope it’s also part of why staff and customers have grown to love Hawksmoor.”
In 2024, our programmes reached 26.5 million people in 57 countries around the world. We won’t give up until the world is free from hunger. But many more children need our help.
With your support, we can:
