5K May

Come together to do good this spring and take on the Run for Heroes 5K May challenge.

After its huge success last year, 5K May is back and bigger than ever. This time around, you can choose to support different charities across the UK and we’d love you to pick Action Against Hunger.

What is 5K May?

5K May is a national do it yourself fundraising event happening throughout the month of May. You can run, skip, walk, hop, cycle, roll, swim 5K – just make sure you pass it on and nominate five friends after you’ve completed your challenge!

How does it work?

It’s really simple. You just need to choose how you’ll complete your 5K challenge, donate £5 to your cause and then nominate five friends.

Why you should support Action Against Hunger UK

Action Against Hunger treats more malnourished children than any other charity. We won’t give up until the world is free from hunger, but many more children need our help.

With your support, we can:

  • ensure access to healthy, nutritious food
  • provide clean water, good hygiene and health services
  • train more community health workers to treat malnourished children
  • inform more families about how to stay healthy and prevent more children from dying

Life-saving treatments are cheaply available and extremely effective. You can help us scale up our work to reach more children in need.
