The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is escalating.

The recent resumption of airstrikes in Gaza has proved catastrophic, with hundreds of lives being lost.

The lives of more than two million Palestinians are in grave danger. The near total destruction of all civilian infrastructure – including hospitals, homes, schools and markets – has forced them to rely solely on humanitarian aid.

Palestinian families can’t endure more bombardment and displacement. The already high risk of famine is increasing.

Our teams are still in Gaza delivering life-saving water and nutrition support. They’re trying to reach as many people as possible with whatever resources they have available. Your donation today will help us to continue our work.

Most people give an average of £35.65. Will you donate to our Gaza Appeal today and help families in urgent need?

“Humanitarian access and aid should never be a bargaining chip in a war.”

Why Gaza urgently needs aid

Homes, hospitals, schools, and markets have been destroyed—everything families need to survive is gone. People in Gaza are relying on aid just to get by.

We urgently call – more than ever before – for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, unimpeded humanitarian access, release of all hostages, and the protection of civilians and humanitarian aid workers.

It's not too late to prevent further loss of life.

The crisis in Gaza

  • 50,000

Over 50,000 Palestinians have been killed in the conflict. Just £25 could provide one person who's lost loved ones with a pillow, mattress, blanket and two meals for three days.

  • 2.1M

2.1 million people face acute food insecurity in Gaza. Just £47 could provide a fresh food basket that keeps a family of six in Gaza nourished for two weeks.

  • 200

We've supported over 200 sites in Gaza with clean water. Just £103 could provide two tanks of clean water for people in Gaza. One tank can hold up to 5,000 litres.

How you can help families in Gaza

Despite challenges, we've been scaling up our emergency response since October 2023.

Thanks to your support, we've reached more than one million people in Gaza and the West Bank through:

  • providing hot meals and clean, safe water
  • nutrition programmes to prevent and treat malnutrition in women and children
  • supporting livelihoods of farmers and and small business owners so fresh food and vegetables are available in Gaza.

  • But need for humanitarian aid is greater than ever. Your donation today could help us prepare to deliver more urgent aid including food, water and medicine.

How your money supports families in Gaza

Your donation to our Gaza Appeal will help protect vulnerable communities in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and Lebanon. Any funds raised over and above the needs of these programmes will go to our life-saving work and used where the need is greatest.

Out of every £1 raised, we spend 94p on charitable activities and services and 6p on fundraising and support costs.
