Rising food prices have increased already high levels of life-threatening hunger, with 38.2% of children under five suffering from malnutrition.

Sudan now hosts over one million refugees, mostly from neighbouring South Sudan. Many live in camps without access to basic services such as food, clean water and safe toilets.
