Step by Step

The summit of one of the peaks in the Three Peaks Challenge

STEP-BY-STEP TO SIGNING UP

The Three Peak Challenge is a popular endurance hike to the summit of the highest point in Scotland, England and Wales one after the other, all over one weekend. Hiking over 22 miles and climbing over 10,000 ft and travelling between each peak is physical challenge that continues to gain in popularity when the challenge is already firmly on the calendar.

How it works

1. Pick your event weekend and book.

We have partnered with the leading challenge event organiser, Global Adventure Challenges, to offer you the opportunity to take on this beautiful challenge this year. Global Adventure Challenges take care of everything, providing you with transport to and from the peaks, accomodation, refreshments as well as guiding you on each peak with their expert mountain leaders.

Choose your event weekend, there are three to pick between:

  • 3-5 July 2020
  • 21-23 August 2020
  • 11-13 September 2020

To secure your place, you'll need to book with Global Adventure Challenges by paying a £75 registration fee and then agree to raise £770 for Action Against Hunger.

2. Fundraising and training

In return for fundraising £770 for our cause, we will cover the cost of the trip for you. We know that's a lot of money to fundraise that's why from when you sign up we will support you, we are a friendly experienced team who support hundreds of fundraisers to reach their targets, whether they're walking, running, cycling or taking on Tough Mudder. We provide you with fundraising materials, advice and help you make your ideas become a reality.

At the same time you're fundraising, you'll also need to be training. The more time you can put into preparing for the challenge, the more you will be able to enjoy the weekend itself. Global Adventure Challenges will provide you with training plans when you sign up, but we can also help with advice.

3. Where your money will go

With your support, our teams will provide communities around the world with access to food, water, medicine and sanitation.

It costs just £42 to treat a malnourished child, by giving them the medicine and treatment they need to make a full recovery and have a healthy future.

Our long-term goal is to work with communities to build sustainable solutions to hunger and malnutrition.
