Too Many Critics
Action Against Hunger brings it unique brand of playful gastronomic ‘payback’ with its annual Too Many Critics events in Manchester and London.
Every year, Action Against Hunger challenges teams of restaurant critics and food writiers to swap their pens for pans at some of the UK's best restaurants.
This year's events took place at Iberica Manchester and Hakkasan Hanway Place, London, and saw critics including Jay Rayner (The Observer), Bill Knott (The FT's How to Spend It), William Sitwell (Waitrose Magazine), Tracey MacLeod, Mark 'Gordo' Garner (Manchester Confidential) and Lucas Hollweg (Good Things to Eat) cook for a room full of some of London and Manchester's best chefs and restaurateurs.
In 2017, these events raised more than £60,000 towards Action Against Hunger's work in nearly 50 countries around the world.
