If you are looking for the perfect way to celebrate Valentines, look no further! Manchester-based restaurant TNQ is ‘Spreading The Love’ this Valentine's Day by donating all proceeds of their set 3 course dinner to Action Against Hunger.
The much-loved restaurant, based in the heart of the Northern Quarter, will be using the day to enable people to treat their love or closest friends to a lovely meal, while at the same time helping to make a difference to families in need.
Head Chef Anthony Fielden was keen to try something different this Valentine's Day: "This year we wanted to take the concept of Valentine's and broaden its meaning. Enabling people to not only spoil their loved one with good food & champagne, but at the same time helping us 'Spread The Love' to those who are less fortunate. If you’re single, it's a great reason to gather your friends and make a night of it, helping us to raise money for a charity that does amazing work to save the lives of malnourished children around the world."
The menu, which includes harissa marinated lamb rump, butter poached cod and seared pigeon breast, is priced at £48.50 and has been carefully curated by Anthony. It will also be accompanied by a glass of Perrier Jouet Champagne on arrival.
Not content with putting on this fantastic fundraiser, Anthony has also challenged himself to trek through the mountains of Nepal with a team of fellow chefs and restaurateurs to raise awareness and vital funds for our work. You can find out more about their trek and sponsor Anthony here.
