Fine Wine Auction & Dinner

The Fine Wine Auction - last year's chefs celebrate

Fine Wine Auction & Dinner

Now entering its 12th year, the Fine Wine Auction & Dinner has raised an incredible £2.3 million for our international work worldwide.

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Fine Wine Auction & Dinner will be returning to 1 Lombard Street, a stunning former banking hall in Central London on 3rd November 2018.

Each year, the event unites some of the UK’s top chefs to cook a fantastic bespoke meal for guests. Last year’s chefs included Michel Roux Jr. (Le Gavroche), Ken Hom (MEE Restaurant), Paul Ainsworth (Paul Ainsworth at No 6) and Ollie Dabbous (Dabbous). The night was hosted by acclaimed actor Hugh Bonneville

Guests were welcomed with a Champagne Taittinger reception, followed by a bespoke meal to remember.

Guests then had the opportunity to bid on a host of exclusive and money-can’t-buy experiences and items, raising more than £350,000 towards Action Against Hunger's international work.

All funds raised on the night will go directly to supporting Action Against Hunger’s work ending child hunger in nearly 50 countries around the world.

What’s more, this year guests' support went even further. The funds that we raised from this event will be doubled by the UK Government, helping us to support mums and mums to be in Senegal to bring up healthy and well-nourished children. Find out more about the UK Government’s support of our #HealthyMumsHealthyKids appeal.

"In the 10 years I have worked with Action Against Hunger, I have seen the work they do, I have even worked with them and they are a truly wonderful charity raising much needed funds for countries around the world. Not just when there is a crisis but helping communities with ongoing medical and nutritional care and education as well as responding quickly to devastation around the globe."
