Cotswold Way Challenge 2019
Dates: Saturday 29th June - Sunday 30th June 2019.
Main Start Location: Central Bath, United Kingdom
The magical Cotswold Way crosses areas of outstanding natural beauty, with fantastic panoramic views & picturesque villages. It's great setting for a Challenge that heads out from the heart of historic Bath and 100km later and a few hills enroute - it's a memorable finish line celebration in Cheltenham. This is no country ramble - and whether you walk it at a pace that suits you, jog parts of it, or run the whole course, your challenge will be a test of your determination and a journey of self discovery. It's tough - but achievable - and you'll get full support and great hospitality all the way.
Whether you're a walker and new to endurance events, or a marathon runner looking to up the distance - the journey will be unforgettable and only finishes when you've had time to reflect on your achievement. You can join as an individual or as a team, and there’s also half & quarter distance options. With some training and determination anyone can take on the Cotswold Way – so why not get in shape, join up to 2,000 others, push yourself and do something amazing in 2019 for you and for Action Against Hunger.
Take on the Half Challenge in one of two different 50km routes. Both start on the morning of the Saturday 29th June, the First starts in Bath and finishes in Wootton and the second starts in Wootton to finish in Chelmsford.
Registration Fee £60 and £275 Minimum Fundraising Target
The full 100km route from Bath to Cheltenham through the heart of the picturesque Cotswolds can be completed in two ways, the first is the continuous option starting early on the Saturday morning and the other option is to camp by starting the same time, camp half-way and then to complete the second 50km on Sunday 30th June.
Registration Fee £80 and £425 Minimum Fundraising Target
When you sign-up to take part in this challenge Action Against Hunger will be there to help with fundraising by providing you with a welcome pack including fundraising guides, training tips and t-shirts for fundraising and a technical tee for the event itself.
