Too Many Critics Manchester at Iberica
Chefs, restaurateurs, critics and industry professionals came together for one night to raise £20,437 for Action Against Hunger

Last night critics once again dropped their pens and picked up their pans to feed a restaurant full of the North West's best chefs and restaurateurs and raised £20,437.
Held in conjunction with the Northern Restaurant and Bar Show, Too Many Critics Manchester took place at long term supporters of Action Against Hunger, Ibérica in Spinningfields. The evening was hosted by restaurant critic and author of ‘Where Chefs Eat’ Joe Warwick.
The critics taking their turn in the kitchen included Bill Knott (The FT’s How to Spend It), Emma Sturgess (Delicious Magazine), Neil Sowerby (Taste of Manchester) Mark ‘Gordo’ Garner (Manchester Confidential), Emily Heward (Manchester Evening News) and Ruth Allan (Manchester Wire).
The critics were judged by some of the North's best chefs, including; Aiden Byrne from Manchester House, Steven Smith from The Freemasons at Wiswell, Lisa Allen of Northcote and Frances Atkins of The Yorke Arms.
The night was sponsored by Juan Pedro Domecq 100% Jamón Ibérico, Champagne Taittinger, Beronia Crianza and Sanclodio D.O. Ribeiro.
