Sukhdev Sharma, from our logistics team in Nepal, shares the experience of his family when the earthquake struck, the impact of the rainy season on recovery, and the fears and concerns of people he met. "I was in the districts of Nuwakot and Rasuwa to assess the situation in order to see what help we can extend to the people, but the situation is really, really terrible. It's devastating. It’s really sad. For a common Nepali, a house and his cattle is more than 50% of his property. If it has been collapsed, it will definitely have a big impact on his livelihood.
