On Friday 4th December London’s iconic Troubadour Club hosted the first in what is expected to be a series gigs for Action Against Hunger. Music Against Hunger is the brainchild of the Troubadour’s music manager John Talavera, who wanted to create a night that would shine a light on emerging talent and use their music to help raise vital funds for Action Against Hunger.

Guests were treated to a mix of original folk, pop and soul from talented artists Sam Larner, Bel and the Loonatics, Lady Fitz, Georgia Grace and The Thatcher’s. The event raised an impressive £460 for Action Against Hunger’s lifesaving work around the world and marks the start of an exciting new partnership.

We’ll be sharing details of future Music Against Hunger events in 2016 via the Action Against Hunger Twitter page so keep an eye out for updates in the new year. If you’d like to know more about the gigs or how you could can organise your own fundraising events then don’t hesitate to get in touch.
