To mark Thanksgiving on Thursday the 26th of November, our friends at La Tasca will donate £1 from each of their sold desserts to Action Against Hunger, to contribute towards our work to save the lives of malnourished children and provide families with access to safe water and good nutrition. So you can do good with your pud!

La Tasca, who blend Spanish style, cuisine and hospitality, were recently awarded the Gold Award for the Best Family Friendly Restaurant in the 5th Annual Loved by Parents Awards. Their delicious dessert collection includes sharing Churros, Crema Catalana and Sorbets, with several new exotic desserts recently added to their new menu.

A pound from each dessert sold nationwide will go a long way to contribute to all the work we do worldwide at Action Against Hunger. Just £1 can provide one day’s worth of ready to use food supply used to nurse acutely malnourished children back to health. We are really appreciative to La Tasca, as their campaign is helping us to make this idea a reality for so many children.

CEO at La Tasca, Simon Wilkinson said: “We are delighted to be supporting Action Against Hunger and their commitment to save lives daily. We hope our guests on this festive occasion treat themselves to a delicious dessert, simultaneously helping end child hunger. "

Everyone here at Action Against Hunger hopes this new partnership will help children and their families in over 40 countries worldwide, as well as our work in responding to emergencies such as the recent Syrian refugee crisis and Nepal earthquakes.
