Hawksmoor Charity Dinner 2015 raises over £100k
This past Saturday night saw Hawksmoor Executive Chefs and Brazilian BBQ Pitmaster, Andre Lima de Luca, unite for one night only to help raise funds for Action Against Hunger.

Hawksmoor Guildhall gathered guests for a fun-filled, meat-fuelled evening at the fifth annual Hawksmoor Charity Dinner on Saturday, 24th October which raised a fantastic £105,000. Hawksmoor’s Group Executive Chef Richard Turner, and Group Executive Pastry Chef Carla Henriques welcomed to their kitchen Brazil’s first ever certified BBQ Pitmaster, Andre Lima de Luca to cook up a spectacular meal and put on a special night for guests.
The night was made even more memorable by cheeky host Christian Stevenson, AKA DJ BBQ. “It’s such a great thing to see the event get better every year – the format changes, but hopefully people still have lots of fun and a great meal, but more importantly we raise more than ever for a cause and a charity we really believe in", said Will Beckett Hawksmoor co-owner and founder.
Each of the chefs donated their time and ingredients free of charge for the fundraising extravaganza with Gustavo Buttino, renowned cocktail expert from São Paulo, designing the cocktails for the reception which preceded the Brazilian-inspired four-course dinner.
The evening’s ticket sales combined with the auctioning of money-can’t-buy prizes, including a Michelin-starred dining tour of The Ledbury, The Dairy and Galvin La Chapelle, a 10-night holiday to Sri Lanka, and four Bobby Moor club tickets to the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, raised £105,000 towards our work addressing child hunger around the world.

This years Hawksmoor dinner, back for its fifth year running, raised an incredible £105,000 towards Action Against Hunger's work to provide malnourished children and their families with good nutrition.
One of the money-cant-buy items up for auction on the night included a Chelsea FC football.
