The Collective launches ‘TUB4GRUB’ campaign in aid of Action Against Hunger
The Collective launches ‘TUB4GRUB’ campaign, encouraging yogurt lovers to re-se their tubs and do some good.
Nov 7 2016
We are delighted to announce that gourmet yoghurt brand The Collective has teamed up with Action Against Hunger to launch the ‘Tub4Grub’ campaign, encouraging customers to re-use their empty yoghurt tubs and not only support Action Against Hunger’s work globally, but brighten someone’s day in their local community too. A minimum of £10,000 will be dontated to Action Against Hunger through the initiative, with a further 50p everytime a #tub4grub is gifted to someone and shared online.
Amelia Harvey, Co-Founder of The Collective said: “We have received lots of lovely feedback from our consumers on how they like to re-use our tubs for all sorts of things from taking salads to work, freezing stocks and sauces and using them for their children’s play-doh. This campaign takes the re-use of our tub one step further and goes to the heart of what we’re all about as a business".
“Not only can our consumers brighten someone’s day in their local community by gifting them a tub filled with love, it’s also doing some good much further afield with our partnership with Action Against Hunger. Through the money raised we could provide up to 20,000 day’s worth of therapeutic food to save the lives of malnourished children across the world”.
There’s always someone deserving of a tub4grub; maybe a poorly Grannie, the old man at the bus stop, a busy son or daughter who never stops working, a new next door neighbour, or a nurse who went that extra mile.
As part of the initiative, which will appear on 3 million tubs nationwide, The Collective has pledged to donate a minimum of £10,000 to Action Against Hunger, to help tackle child hunger globally. This donation could then be boosted by up to another £10,000, through yoghurt lovers taking part in the campaign locally and sharing photos of their good deeds online at www.tub4grub.com or using the hashtag #tub4grub (Twitter: @collectivedairy, Facebook: /thecollectiveinUK, Instagram: @thecollectiveUK). In doing so, every share or upload will boost the donation to Action Against Hunger by 50p, so get sharing!
The Collecitve is also working with Action Against Hunger chefs including Anna Hansen and Alfred Prasad who have created some delicious recipes providing some inspiration for what to pop in a Tub4Grub tub. For all chef recipes and recipes from The Collective Kitchen visit www.tub4grub.com.
The ‘Tub4Grub’ yoghurt tubs will be available in stores from 17th November 2016 and can be found nationwide at Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Ocado, Whole Foods Market, Booths and Nisa.
