Halloween fun for Action Against Hunger
This halloween, Monday 31 October, Mexican grill restaurant, Chipotle will treat customers wearing fancy dress to a burrito, burrito bowl, salad, or order of tacos for only £2. All proceeds from the fundraiser, with a minimum pledge of £10,000, will be donated to Action Against Hunger, to support us in taking decisive action against the causes and effects of hunger.
Action Against Hunger’s Director of Fundraising and Communications, Matthew White, comments: ‘We’re terrifyingly excited to be partnering with Chipotle on this year’s Boo-rito campaign. Head on down to your nearest restaurant in fancy dress, enjoy some fang-tastic food for just £2 and help raise money for Action Against Hunger. Bone appetite!’
Jacob Sumner, UK managing director for Chipotle, adds: ‘We are committed to changing the way people think about and eat fast food, and through our annual ‘Boo-rito’ fundraiser we have been able to impact organisations such as Action Against Hunger. Our minimum pledge of £10,000 could provide up to 10,000 days’ worth of therapeutic food for malnourished children to help them regain their health’.
That kind of impact is a great reason to get involved with the fun. To take part in the Halloween fundraiser, simply go to any Chipotle restaurant in London, on Monday 31 October, in fancy dress, and purchase any Chipotle menu item for £2. An easy way to help families worldwide access food, clean water, training and healthcare. The participating restaurants are listed below -
