Announcing the launch of our 2016 Chef Calendar
Our fabulous supporter, Lockhart London, hosted a fantastic evening to launch our first ever Chef Calendar.

Last night, guests gathered to celebrate the launch of Action Against Hunger’s first-ever Chef Calendar for 2016. We were joined by our fantastic calendar chefs and many of our longstanding chef and restaurant supporters, united in their passion for food and providing malnourished children with healthier futures.
The Lockhart hosted a wonderful evening – serving delicious food including their famous Southern fried chicken, cornbread and beef brisket served at the chef’s pass. We are very thankful to Brad McDonald, head chef at The Lockhart and one of our 12 calendar chefs, and his team for hosting such a fantastic evening.

Dan Doherty, Executive Chef, Duck & Waffle, said, “Action Against Hunger is an obvious charity for me. As chefs we spend so much time refining food, it makes sense to make sure those that don't have any, get some."
“We have been working with the restaurant industry in the UK for 17 years,“ said Emma Cullingford, Head of Food Related Fundraising at Action Against Hunger, “This year, with the support of our 12 calendar chefs and their restaurants, we’ve been able to develop a new project that we hope will be loved by the industry and the industry’s customers, and take us a step closer to our goal of ending child hunger.”
