Love Food Give Food is an Action Against Hunger appeal to save the lives of malnourished children.

Love Food Give Food unites food lovers across the world in turning their passion for food into action:

We hope to raise over £1million per year by 2015 from all those who really love food: home cooks, restaurateurs, chefs, food critics, delis, cafes, farms, city farms, retailers, city foodies, allotment owners... and anyone else with a passion for food.

Why Is This Appeal Needed?

• The world produces enough food to feed everyone yet 3.5 million children die every year due to malnutrition and related illnesses.
• The causes of malnutrition are well known and the cures are cost-effective.
• Child hunger is entirely preventable and Action Against Hunger is committed to doing whatever it takes to end child malnutrition.
   

Our History

Action Against Hunger has been working with the food industry for over 10 years. Here are just a few of our higlights and achievements:

• A national fundraising initiative in September/October supported by over 500 restaurants per year
• A four-year partnership with Carluccio’s raising over £500k to date
• Charity of choice at leading food shows and events including Taste of London, Real Food Festival and Speciality & Fine Food Fair
• Personal support from celebrity chefs and personalities including Raymond Blanc, Antonio Carluccio and Giorgio Locatelli
• Media partnerships with Delicious Magazine, Harden’s, Clear Channel and Restaurant magazine
• High profile food and wine event raising over £230k in 2010
