Following displacements in Khorfulus due to insecurity in February this year, high malnutrition rates unveiled in the past assessments and impending food insecurity in both areas, Action Against Hunger deemed it necessary to undertake a nutritional anthropometric survey. The survey was undertaken in Khorfulus and Atar areas in May 2008 with the specific objectives to, inter alia, evaluate the nutrition status of children and to estimate the measles immunization coverage.
