Franck Pontais battles it out in Iron Chef

Contenu

Action Against Hunger supporter Franck Pontais battles it out in the kitchen this week in Iron Chef. You can watch it on Channel 4 every day at midday.

Franck Pontais is a chef traiteur, charcutier and butcher.  Nicknamed 'the Kitchen Artist' by his peers, he has risen through the ranks of the butchery and charcuterie departments, producing the finest produce for world renowned food halls and delicatessens. Far from your standard restaurant chef, Franck dedicates his time to anything from food consultancy and product development to pushing culinary boundaries at dinner parties and banquets.

This week Franck is facing the culinary challenge in Iron Chef UK where he must battle it out in the kitchen stadium against the four Iron Chefs Tom Aikens, Martin Blunos, Sanjay Dwivedi and Judy Joo. You can watch it on channel 4 every day around midday, and can catch up on missed episodes online here.

Franck has generously pledged to donate 20% of the sales of his book, Terrines and Verrines, to Action Against Hunger. The book is available to buy online through the Franck Pontais website here.
