In celebration of World Food Day 2013, we are delighted to release our exclusive No Hunger Orchestra video in partnership with the European Commissionís Humanitarian Aid department. Featuring special footage from our unique concerts across London, Madrid and Paris, the video includes clips from around the world as families joined the campaign by recording their own performances to help put an end to child hunger.
A staggering 8,000 children die from hunger related causes every single day. The No Hunger Orchestra is a chance for us to reflect on this, but also to highlight the fact that we are now closer than ever to being able to end child hunger. Proven, sustainable solutions exist and it is possible to reach more families around the world than ever before.
On Sunday 13 October we hosted a unique No Hunger Orchestra concert at London, Madrid and Paris and lifted our voices against child hunger. In support of World food day, three cities came together with one purpose - to fight child hunger. Uniquely, all the instruments used in the concert were made out of non-edible food parts. Read more about the event in London, St Pancras.
There are plenty of ways to get involved and we would love you to be a part of this years World Food Day.
