Fundraising events
Every year Action Against Hunger works with private members clubs, restaurants, firms, social groups and individuals, enabling them to hold exciting and successful fundraising events on our behalf.

Case Studies
Boisdale
In 2010, Boisdale of Belgravia and Bishopsgate in central London held 3 extremely successful events in aid of Action Against Hunger, raising nearly £50,000 for our international work.
Action Against Hunger helped them in their fantastic endeavours by:
- Securing exciting and relevant live and silent auction lots
- Providing auctioneers on the night
- Raising the profile of the event with food prepared by one of our top chef supporters
- Co-ordinating with Boisdale on programme design and production
- Providing all fundraising related materials
- Ensuring adequate staff support for fundraising activities on the night

Nom Nom Nom
In July 2010, the 3rd Annual Nom Nom Nom (a bloggers masterchef!) took place, raising more than £1000 for Action Against Hunger through an online raffle.
Action Against Hunger helped them with:
- Sourcing raffle prizes
- Putting them in touch with potential food critic judges
- A speaker on the day
- Publicising the raffle on our website and social networking pages

The Cinnamon Kitchen
The Cinnamon Kitchen are long term supporters of Action Against Hunger's Fight Hunger, Eat Out campaign. In November 2010 they took their support to the next level by hosting an extravagant Diwali Banquet, raising more than £22,000 for our international work.
Action Against Hunger supported their event by:
- Recruiting top chefs to participate
- Securing exciting and relevant auction lots and raffle prizes
- Providing entertainment, a host and an auctioneer for the night
- Liaising with chefs to help them secure sponsored ingredients
- Co-ordinating with the Cinnamon Kitchen on event logistics
- Providing all fundraising related materials
- Ensuring adequate Action Against Hunger staff support for fundraising on the night
