Action Against Hunger would like to thank Clear Channel, the outdoor advertising company, for their support during the Haiti Emergency Campaign. For a week, between the 24th and 31st January, Clear Channel featured advertisements for the appeal on 10 of their 6m x 3m digital boards. The boards were located in prime locations around London including Camden High Street, Blackfriars Bridge and Vauxhall Cross. This provided Action Against Hunger with a unique opportunity to raise public awareness and gain support for the Haiti appeal.
In addition, Clear Channel staff organised a fundraising day by organising a cake bake and casual dress day, which raised £182 for the appeal.
“We were all shocked by the terrible earthquake in Haiti, and as a supporter of Action Against Hunger’s work – we wanted to help the Haiti Emergency Appeal. Donating LED advertising space was a perfect opportunity for Clear Channel to be able to do this, helping Action Against Hunger raise further awareness of their work in Haiti.” Leanne Grant – Charity Executive at Clear Channel.
