Entry Fee
The entry fee is £25 per person. This is non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.
Medical conditions
It is the responsibility of participants to ensure they are medically fit to complete this challenge. All participants are advised to consult their doctor to ensure they are physically fit to train and compete in the Corporate Challenge 10k. All participants enter at their own risk.
Race numbers
At the on-site registration desk, you will be issued with a race number and time chip. The time chip corresponds with your race number. Due to medical reasons race numbers cannot be transferred or swapped. Your emergency contact details must be written on the reverse of your number.
Age restriction
All participants are required to be aged 18 years or over by the event date, by registering for the event you are confirming that you are over 18. Organisers reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone they believe to be underage.
Baggage & Personal Property
Action Against Hunger accepts no liability for lost or damaged luggage or personal property.For reasons of safety, participants will not be able to take part carrying any item other than the clothes they are wearing. For security reasons your baggage may be searched prior to your entry to the event.
Food and drink
For reasons of safety, food and drink items are not allowed into the event. Water and/or sports drinks will be provided during the event, with a light refreshment provided after the event.
Participant safety
Participants are responsible for their own safety whilst walking on public pathways.
Change of address/contact details
If your address/contact details change after you have registered you must notify the organisers by email at this address: l.richards@aahuk.org
Event cancellation
The event will only be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. The organiser’s entire liability in respect of all costs and expenses you may incur as a result of such cancellation or delay will solely be the entry price you have paid to take part in the event.
Race ejection
The organisers reserve the right to refuse access to the race. Examples of reasons could include but are not restricted to; misuse of alcohol or other substances, sight of an injury which would make it unsafe for the participant to compete.
Use of photos
We may take photos of you during the day or film you for future promotion purposes. By taking part you grant us the use of these images in future promotion of the event or of Action Against Hunger.
Data protection
The Corporate Challenge 10k complies with the Data Protection Act 1998 and you have the right of access to personal records held on the organiser’s computer on written request. Your name will be added to the organiser’s mailing list so that we can keep you informed about the other events and activities of the event organisers.
