Hogan Lovells, the leading international law firm has selected Action Against Hunger as its global charity partner for 2011 and 2012. Staff at more than 40 offices worldwide are organising fundraising activities to support Action Against Hunger and they have already gotten off to a great start. Funds have been raised through an international photography competition, a royal wedding themed cake bake and a charity quiz. Events on the horizon include a wine-tasting event sponsored by Champagne Taittinger, a "spinathon‟ competition and a "Legally Ballroom‟ dance competition.
Hogan Lovells hope to raise at least £180,000 during the two year partnership. To help fund our programmes in Monrovia, Liberia. Richard Tyler, International Touch Partner and Michael Williams, US Touch Partner, Hogan Lovells said: "We are very excited about our partnership with Action Against Hunger and are proud to be supporting their vitally important work in Liberia. Key Travel, a leading supplier of travel to the not-for-profit sector, has recently selected Action Against Hunger as their charity partner for 2011/12. Employees will be raising funds to support the charity through a variety of employee fundraising activities at their offices in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Brussels and Washington DC.
