Collection Success

You might say genetically modified food has gone too far, but the giant carrot and banana were surprisingly good at collecting!

We are very excited to announce that our bucket collections are going from strength to strength - in 2010 they raised nearly £9000 for Action Against Hunger’s worldwide programmes.

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to all the dedicated volunteers who have helped at our collections. We are indebted to them all for their commitment and never ending enthusiasm to enable us to raise as much money as possible to save the lives of malnourished children and their families in over 40 countries worldwide.

Action Against Hunger would also like to thank Network Rail and London Underground Charities for their continued support in providing us with permission to hold our collections on their premises - we could not do it without their invaluable assistance.

Inspired? WE NEED YOU!

If you’ve been thinking about getting involved but don't know how, we would love to hear from you! We are always on the look out for willing volunteers to help us at our monthly collections. You don’t need any experience, it’s the easiest way to help us and it only means giving up a couple of hours of your time for an extremely worthwhile cause. Join our passionate and dedicated collection teams today and you too could help save a child’s life!

Next collection dates:

We will be holding a number of collections on World Food Day on 16th October 2012 and are currently recruiting volunteers to help with these. If you are interested in helping with World Food Day or any future collections please email collections@actionagainsthunger.org.uk with your contact details and availability.
