Each year 100's of restaurants support Action Against Hunger through the Love Food Give Food appeal.
This can include making a donation to Action Against Hunger each time you order a certain dish, inviting you to donate £1 on top of your bill or inviting you to an exciting event at their restaurant.
Details of the restaurants taking part in 2012 will be available soon. In the meantime, take a look at the restaurants that raised the most in 2011.
Eat Out 2011
First and foremost we would like to thank everyone who was involved in the Love Food Give Food campaign in 2011.
Your help has enabled Action Against Hunger to continue helping families in over 40 countries, providing them with the tools, seeds and support they need to build a sustainable future.
90% of funds raised go directly to our lifesaving programmes worldwide. With just £1 Action Against Hunger can help a farmer produce enough food to feed his family for 4 days, so your support really is crucial and we thank all of those who contributed.
WHO RAISED THE MOST?
A special thank you goes to Joe Allen Restaurant in Covent Garden who raised over £6,000. Their commitment and dedication to the campaign has meant that in 2011 they were the restaurant who raised the most. A big congratulations to all the staff and customers!
Special thanks also go to La Cave, Carnaby Burger Co, Orso, Quilon, and Pollen Street Social who all worked extremely hard to raise a very large amount.

Ping Pong Restaurants
Ping Pong restaurants have teamed up with Action Against Hunger to support our vital work. To launch the partnership and in celebration of the Chinese New Year, the year of the dragon, Ping Pong will donate 50p to our Love Food Give Food appeal for every Dragon Kumquat cocktail. Visit any of their restaurants until the 5th of March and have a Dragon Kumquat (non-alcoholic varieties available) with your meal to raise crucial funds.
Carluccio's, Nationwide
Enjoy Carluccio's best-selling Penne Giardiniera and they will donate 50p to Action Against Hunger. Carluccio's have raised over £500,000 so far.
Hawksmoor, London
London-based steakhouse, Hawksmoor, are supporting Action Against Hunger by donating 50p from their dessert of the month. Join them in helping them reach their challenge to raise over £100,000 for Action Against Hunger in 2011.
Zambrero
Zambrero is a great Mexican Grill restaurant chain in Australia. This year they launched Plate4Plate in partnership with Action Against Hunger, meaning everytime a customer purchases a plate of food in one of their restaurants, they provide a plate of food for someone in the developing world.
Six Senses Resorts
Six Senses, the luxury spa and resort group, have fantastic restaurants as part of their 14 hotels around the world. Guests eating in a Six Senses restaurant can enjoy the fact that a donation will be made to help save the lives of malnourished children around the world.
Geronimo Inns, London
Geronimo Inns are donating 28p to Action Against Hunger for every pork pie and Scotch egg sold.
Camino Kitchen, London
Camino make a small donation from the sale of one of their many desserts.
BA Brandings, Cardiff
BA Brandings have raised over £50,000 to date by donating 50p from a popular dish and hosting regular fundraising events.
