Action Against Hunger is a registered UK charity (no. 1047501) and a company limited by guarantee registered in England (no. 3096468). Our accounts are audited externally every year to ensure that we are effectively using the funds entrusted to us by our sponsors, supporters and donors.
In 2008, from every £1 you have given:
- £0.90 has been spent on our charitable activities, including benefiting communities, advocacy and research.
- the remaining £0.10 has been spent on fundraising and governance.

In the year 1 April 2008 to 31 March 2009, we raised £6,482,495 million, an increase of 42% on the previous year.
