World’s 50 Best Restaurants - Supporting Action Against Hunger

For the 5th year World’s 50 Best and Restaurant Magazine supported their official charity partner, Action Against Hunger, and their humanitarian work in over 46 countries across the world. 

As part of Action Against Hunger’s Love Food Give Food appeal  supporters had the chance to bid on unique meals and experiences at many of the internationally renowned restaurants that feature in the 2012 list.

These restaurants generously donated meals, including “money-can’t-buy” extras such as a private kitchen tour, bespoke tasting menu, signed cookbooks and even – in some cases – five-star accommodation to support this charity and it’s amazing work.

The auction concluded on Friday 30 November at 8pm. Thank you to everyone who bid.

This year all public donations in aid of Action Against Hunger’s Love Food Give Food appeal were matched pound for pound by the UK Government, helping us to reach twice as many children.

All proceeds go towards  Action Against Hunger's life-saving programmes around the world which rely upon the generous support of donors.
